We are here to honor the memory of our beloved Nanizi and Dadu (grandmother), Nessa, who was the epitome of grace and generosity. Our brand is named after her, as a tribute to the incredible woman she was and to forever honor her.

Nessa had a deep love for gold jewelry. It was a part of her identity, and she would never be seen without her gold necklaces, earrings, and bangles. Every piece she wore held a special meaning, and she passed down her appreciation for the beauty and craftsmanship of jewelry to us.

But Nessa's impact went far beyond her personal style. She had a heart of gold and a passion for helping those in need, particularly in her motherland, Bangladesh. She believed in the power of giving back and making a difference in the lives of others. Whether it was donating money, providing food, water, and clothing, or offering support in any way she could, Nessa's generosity knew no bounds.

Unfortunately, our beloved grandmother passed away in April 2020 due to COVID-19. It was a devastating loss for our family, but it also inspired us to carry on her legacy of compassion and kindness.

We, Rejwana (right) and Eva (left), both proud Bangladeshi-Americans born and raised in Queens, New York, decided to create NESSAJEWELERS as a way to honor our grandmother and continue the work she started. As cousins and business partners, we are driven by a shared vision. We want NESSAJEWELERS to be more than just a jewelry brand. We want it to be a platform for change, a means to make a positive impact in the lives of those less fortunate.
